Professional Experience
I currently am an active member of the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), serving on the NYSPA Council and Foundation.
Duties: Individual and family therapy, psychological and psycho-educational testing, school-based consultation; providing treatments for disruptive behavioral disorders (i.e., ADHD, ODD, Conduct Disorder), eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, specific phobias, somatoform disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; behavioral modification and parenting skills training.
April, 2008 – Present Duties: Psychological testing and collaborative consultation, on a per diem basis, for students with autism spectrum disorders in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Children in the program receive services as part of Project AIIM (Applied Intensive Intervention Model).
September, 2008 – Present Duties: Psychological and educational testing; parent and teacher consultation; classroom behavior observation; adaptive behavior testing.

Adolescent Trauma Treatment Development Center, Department of Psychiatry April, 2003 – January, 2005 Duties: Co-Principle Investigator – The Reliability and Validity of the Structured Interview for Disorders of Extreme Stress, Adolescent Version (SIDES-A); Research Coordinator – Group Treatment for Adolescents Exposed to Chronic Traumatic Stress; Research Coordinator – PTSD in Adolescent and Young Adult Accident Victims; data management; clinical research developing and implementing manual-based interventions for adolescents exposed to chronic trauma; written reviews of psychological assessments for PTSD and trauma reactions in adolescents; grant writing for NIMH and SAMSHA research proposals.

Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Hartford Hospital / The Institute of Living September, 2001 – August, 2002 Duties: Intake evaluation and diagnosis, treatment formulation, inpatient and outpatient child & adolescent psychotherapy, case management, psychological testing; group and family therapy; collaboration with outside roviders and schools, brief therapy intervention and psychiatric consultation to pediatric patients in emergency room, oncology, cardiology, rehabilitation, and pulmonary departments; case presentations.

September 1996 – May 1998 Duties: Individual vocational and personal counseling for undergraduate and graduate college students; group counseling for students on academic probation and with undecided majors; development and presentation of workshops concerning the following topics: conflict resolution, communication skills, excessive Internet use and managing time on-line, and gambling and personal risks; National Screening Day semi-structured interviews.
Center for Psychological Services and Clinical Studies September 1996 – May 2001 Duties: Clinical intake interviewing and report writing; individual child psychotherapy, play therapy and parent consultation; consultation with teachers and Committee on Special Education; research scale administration; individual adult psychotherapy; provision of support and process groups for first-year clinical psychology doctoral students; attendance at colloquia and workshops; weekly individual supervision.
Department of Psychiatry, Westchester Division Division of Child and Adolescent Services June – August 1995 Duties: Fulfillment of nursing staff responsibilities; application of interpersonal therapeutic relations with patients; provision of group therapy and assistance with the coordination of therapeutic activities; measurement and charting of patient vital signs; implementation of patient privilege system; formal inpatient observations; assistance with restraint procedures.
